Getting a licence
Kewos ERP runs under a licence. This is not paperwork bolted on top of the product: the server refuses to start until a valid licence is installed.
That is deliberate, and it cuts both ways. Removing or tampering with a licence can only close access, never open it.
A trial licence
To evaluate the product, ask for a trial licence. It lasts a few days, covers a small number of users, and gives access to every module.
Write to contact@kewos.io and tell us:
- your company name;
- how many users you want to try it with;
- whether the installation is meant to last or to be thrown away.
You get back your licence token and your download credentials.
A full licence
A commercial licence carries your company, a number of users, a number of legal entities and an expiry date. It renews without reinstalling anything.
What the licence carries
| Users | How many active accounts are allowed. |
| Companies | How many legal entities the same installation may manage. |
| Expiry | The date beyond which the licence is no longer valid. |
| Grace period | A window after expiry during which the installation keeps working, with a warning banner. |
Checking your licence
On a running installation, Settings → Licence shows the status, the plan, the quotas consumed
and the expiry date.
Machine-bound licences
On request, a licence can be bound to the server it is installed on. It is extra protection against copying an installation, and it has a price: the licence must be reissued if you change machine.
